Treatment with Bacta-Pur® POND
Bacta-Pur® POND was developed specifically for use in shallow golf and farm ponds with a surface area greater than 1000 sq ft or 100 m2.
FOR PONDS less or equal to 4 ft (1.2 m) in depth: Apply weekly 1 US Gal. per ˝ acre (2 qt per 10,000 sq ft) or 2 liters per 1000 m2.
FOR WATER BODIES more than 4 ft (1.2 m) deep: Apply weekly 1.5 US Gal. per 1 million gallons or 1.5L per 1000 m3.
The dose could be doubled at start up or in highly polluted ponds.
The Bacta-Pur® POND should be simply diluted 10 to 100 times with pond water and then sprayed onto the surface. Irrigation systems, particularly impulse sprinklers can facilitate applications. The dilution is important to assure an even distribution across the water body.
